5 of 5 Wow. It’s as good as people say it is. January 3, 2023
Reviewer: Wes from Atlanta, GA United States
Just got one of these and cannot believe how good it sounds.  It’s everything folks say it is.  And then some.

Initially, I put it behind some buffered pedals and thought I was going to have to return or flip it.  Really harsh and tinny.  Then I read some more and put it after my ge fuzz but before everything else.  I was blown away.

Responds great to guitar volume and sounds killer.  Worried it’s going to make my other dirt pedals irrelevant.  My first Analogman purchase.  It won’t be my last.  Thanks!

5 of 5 Just buy a Beano Boost already. November 8, 2021
Reviewer: Michael from Kansas City
I'd tried overdrive after overdrive to push my more lightly-gained amps, especially my Vox AC15, and every pedal either did too much (totally changed the amp) or too little (hardly added anything).  The Beano Boost was exactly what I needed the whole time.  The way it pushes an amp into maximum rock'n'roll while retaining the amp's character is incredible.  Put a Beano Boost in front of any light- to medium-gain amp and listen to it transform into a fire-breathing, infinite-sustaining, solo-singing, midrange-ripping crunch monster.  And if you've already got your amp cooking, hit it with the Beano, and all that extraneous fizz and flub will tighten up into a vocalized laser of tone for your solos.  Mick Ronson with Bowie, Marc Bolan with T. Rex, Tony Iommi with Sabbath, and, best of all, Brian May with Queen are all waiting in this pedal.

5 of 5 Beano Boost Vs Other Treble Boosters February 11, 2021
Reviewer: Rakesh Rai from Singapore, Asia Singapore
I have tried this Beano with other True Bypass Treble Boosters. The rest are pricier and don't truly justify. Some to name are: - BSM Treble Boost, Soulsonic Custom 4Banger, Rory Gallagher's The Hawk by Flynn Amps, UK, and a few more.

All I can say is that the Beano Boost has its own character. Every nuance of your playing style is noticeable, meaning it reacts to your style of guitar playing. 10/10 for the Beano with Strats/Teles. Has an Awesome low volume growl with my Bareknuckle pickups. Good job Mike!

5 of 5 Twist & Toggle-The Beano is Primo!!! February 9, 2021
Reviewer: I Love Fuzz from Los Angeles
The Beano boost has an amazing range. By twisting the volume and toggling between tones, the Beano has a wide variety of uses on it's own. My Beanos are stock and they sound proper with all guitars and amps, put in their path!!! The Beano also plays well with other pedals!! With the Beano supplying a little bit of color on the front of the chain, everything sounds sweet and complete! Thanks again Analogman for another colorful tone box of molten sonic Fuzz!!!

5 of 5 Absolute gold. November 13, 2020
Reviewer: Dave Andrews from Buckinghamshire, England.
This pedal will take you the tonal place you wanted to be, even if you didn't know it.
Playing it feels like coming home.
The Beano does beautifully what other pedals pretend to do, and it sounds like the real thing, because it is the real thing - without the gimmicks, the advertising or the commercial dishonesty.
It has a warmth that is difficult to describe, and offers a palette of tones from your volume knob alone.
Absolutely blown away.
Thanks Analogman!

5 of 5 The Rock 'n' Roll Machine April 27, 2020
Reviewer: Benjamin from St. Louis, MO
This pedal is the real deal... a true sonic force. I think it's worth taking note that when we talk about artists like Iommi and May, we are also talking about very distinctive sounds and sonic palettes. This pedal is a tool that can take you there in a way it seems others cannot. With the three position toggle it has no discrimination regarding pickups; both P.A.F.s and single coils are juiced up and ready to go. Follow it up with a little drive and it just smokes. Put it through a small amp and watch it light up. Highly recommended. Was the original this good??

5 of 5 Beano Boost w/Mullard Transistor February 13, 2020
Reviewer: Rick from Western Massachusetts
I finally own the sound of all my favorite records from the 70s. The Beano Boost is a perfect recreation of everything I love about Cream, Sabbath and Judas Priest. I'll never take it off my board, I'll probably never turn it off, and I may even start sleeping with it under my pillow. Immense thanks to Mike and everyone at Analog.Man.

5 of 5 Beano Boost Review January 29, 2020
Reviewer: Benjamin Berrigan from Toronto, ON Canada
The Beano Boost pedal arrived last week and I hooked it up using only a Boss SD1 through a vintage Traynor YGL3 all tube amp and . . . my jaw dropped. I was speachless. The sound was exactly what I was searching for but could not find in "off the shelf" pedals. The Beano Boost perfectly controlled the drive tone to exactly where I wanted it. And what a sound! It sizzles and punches perfectly. It boosts with a drive that is clear but with a sound that you have to hear to believe. The Beano Boost really is an amazing pedal and it will be on my board forever. The guys at Analogman have obviously put a lot of personal effort into designing it and, moreover, sourcing the NOS parts. Well done and thanks again.
I sincerely recommend this pedal to anyone searching for a sound that resembles the overdriven punch and roar of the 1970s.
Thanks again!

5 of 5 The sound December 2, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
Perhaps best described as the sound I didn’t realize I’d been searching for—until now. Sonically, the Beano Boost pedal accentuates the best of every sound source it sees.

5 of 5 fabulous boost !! October 6, 2017
Reviewer: steeve thomas from st-felix d'otis, QC Canada
i got too many pedals over the years...the ones i played the most was the 808 and the klon...with my ol 72 traynor ygl3 and deluxe rev it was perfect but with my new pal the marshall 1959slp it became obvious that the 808 was missing some bass...and the klon and the mxr dyna comp was the only survivors on my board...till i discovered the BEANO BOOST...a very dynamic pre with an edge...i start using it as a boost only for solos...but i changed my set up to use it as my main overdrive lately and it does the job very good...and boost with the klon....these two,  work very well together...anyways this little gem is here to stay...thanks to Mike for making an ol one new again
