Favorite fuzz November 20, 2022 Reviewer: LO from UT   went with the 3 Mullard transistor option- hammered grey case, this is by far my favorite fuzz it's rich and super aggressive sounding but sings with sustain on solos and riffs I highly suggest this fuzz the you-tube demos just don't do it justice. I am using it through a 1966 twin reverb with aluminum neck EGC guitar with p90s Was this review helpful to you?

3 mullard, gibson les paul, fender twin reverb amp June 23, 2021 Reviewer: Angelo Luchetti from Downingtown, PA United States   I've had six or seven fuzz pedals from Analogman, and they're all amazing but this pedal really blows the rest out of the water for me personally.  With humbuckers and my Fender amp, it's just bright enough.  Not muddy at all for me even when leaving the volume knob up on the guitar all the way.  I would say you can't go wrong, this pedal is worth the money absolutely. Sunbernder Mark IV (3 Mullard) May 14, 2021 Reviewer: rob cole from Scottsdale, Az   I would have paid twice the $$$ for this pedal... (I shouldn't say that but it's true) Tight, fire breathing, articulate, velcro fuzz goodness!!! This thing runs sooooo quiet, holy moly. Awesome sound September 23, 2019 Reviewer: Chris G from Fabens, TX   This fuzz just sounds great.  I used it through a Vox AC4HW with an old 57 ri strat and found it to be a little too bright. I switched guitars to another strat with Alnico 2 pickups and the combination sounds heavenly.  Great fuzz. Was this review helpful to you?

Best MKIII/IV I have played. November 3, 2015 Reviewer: Paul L. from Portland, OR United States   I gravitate towards fuzz that is clear, articulate, and cleans up - a good Fuzz Face or MKII.  The MKIII/IV Tone Bender with its darlington pair and aggressive dense tone is not the type of fuzz I normally like.  And I have tried hard to like them - I have owned a bunch including the best of the best, or a least the most expensive ones the U.K has to offer.  But I sold them all.  So the Sun Bender was one last shot to see if there was one out there I could dig.  Well . . . I dig it!  It is the best of the lot by far.  Of course, it still has that aggressive 70's thick fuzz but it is still somehow articulate.  It is hard rocking but with a twist of the fuzz knob I can get some cool Faces tone out of it.  It doesn't really clean up but that is not really the point of this genre of pedal.  The usual trebly harshness or out-of-control bottom that I have heard in other pedals is here replaced with musicality, touch sensitivity, and a perfect balance across the tonal spectrum. In love October 19, 2015 Reviewer: Sean from Texas   I absolutely LOVE the Sunbender mkIV. I always wanted a tone bender but never bought one until now. Wouldn't have thought a MKIII/IV variant would be for me until I heard this one.  SOOO glad I went with this one, it is already my favorite fuzz pedal by far. It has that huge bender rudeness, but isn't unruly in it's responsiveness at all. Also, even though the sound it is so big and ballsy, it somehow isn't abrasive musically. Just love this thing to death. And believe it or not, it's not noisy at all! Was this review helpful to you?
