5 of 5 BART / RCA Hybrid Sunface — Perfect!!! Saturday, October 17, 2026
Reviewer: Bobby Mack from NC
I have searched for decades for a great sounding fuzz that also cleans up well. This Sunface NAILS it — not only is the fuzz just fantastic sounding when the Gtr Vol is maxed, but the OD tones you get as you roll back the volume are equally rich and addictive. Like having a great sounding OD and killer fuzz in one box!

The RCA/BART Sunface absolutely delivers the sound in my head, which no other fuzz has been able to do. Brilliant!!!

My search is over.

5 of 5 Sunface BC108B Friday, June 12, 2026
Reviewer: Alexis Laffitte from France
I just received my Sunface BC108B again.

I had been impatiently waiting for it for 2 months. The sound is incredible—very open and extremely dynamic. It really makes me want to get one with germanium transistors as well :)

Thanks again for your availability and transparency throughout the shipping process from the USA to France.

5 of 5 GE black vintage germanium transistor low gain Friday, December 5, 2025
Reviewer: Taylor from British Columbia, Canada
After considerable research I ordered the General Electric black vintage germanium transistor—low gain option with clean and sundial knobs, as well as LED and power jack. I’m looking for rhythm friendly cleanup with an emphasis on dynamic edge of breakup grit that’s highly responsive to pick attack. Well, this pedal does that and more. With the pedal volume just past unity, the fuzz maxed, and the clean knob around 2 o’clock, the tones from 7-10 on my guitar volume are heavenly. In short, this pedal is amazing and I could not be happier. Notes: The clean knob is a must for dialling in the perfect fuzz tone. I’ve found less use for the sundial knob, however, I always play in a temperature stable environment. Comes with a non-alkaline battery installed. The hunt for the perfect fuzz is over.

5 of 5 SUNFACE Tuesday, October 21, 2025
Reviewer: Kyle from Michigan
I own three Sunfaces (2N, BC-183, and 2SB171).  The 2SB171 is usually my go-to as I prefer a slightly darker tone.  The 2N is similar but appears to be a little brighter. Both of these pedals clean up very well and can be used throughout the guitars entire volume range.  They are very close in tone but at louder volumes the difference is noticeable.  I often use these two with my guitar’s volume knob turned down to about 7-9 for more of a classic overdriven or distorted tone.

The BC-183 is great for outright fuzz. Although high in gain, it seems more even and less spiky in areas.  However, being Silicon, the BC-183 doesn’t clean up as well as the 2N and 2SB171.  With that said, I often prefer the BC-183 when I simply need fuzz.  A great pedal for its intended purpose.

Amy and Mike have always been VERY helpful as well!
