5 of 5 Awesome March 2, 2020

Simply love this pedal. Very inspiring too me. The only shame is it took me this long to try it. Had my eye on it for awhile. Was completely worth the time it took me to get it and I encourage you to get your hands on one so you can enjoy this sweet fat tone.

5 of 5 Prince of Tone June 16, 2019
Reviewer: Matt Walder from Brighton , UK
Had one (from ebay shamefully ), sold it, regretted it straight away!
Got another and am never letting it go.
Just like the King of Tone it can take a little while to "get to know" it, but after using it for a bit  none of your other pedals sound quite as good anymore in comparison. It's just got "that thing". I particularly love the boost setting, but it sounds awesome across the board from subtle boost to full on overdrive.
Ps, don't get one from ebay, go direct with analog man,  I live in the UK and got mine in no time at all, and we need to support great companies like this.

5 of 5 Prince of Tone May 22, 2019

I was very anxious to receive my new Prince of Tone pedal. I had very high expectations for this pedal and it has surpassed them. I am able to eliminate some tap dancing on my board as this pedal offers such a dynamic sensitivity. I can pick lightly and get some great clear clean tones. When I want it to break up and get a bit dirty I can increase my pick attack without stacking more pedals. I am so impressed with this pedal.  Having the three settings is also a huge advantage. Thanks so much!!!

5 of 5 It's Good! Very Good! April 9, 2019
Reviewer: David from Plymouth, MA United States
I bought this while I wait another 6 months or so for my number to come up for a King of Tone. If the Prince is 1/2 the King, I'm going to faint when I get the KOT. There's something about this pedal that just sings. There is an amazing amount of control with the guitars volume knob for controlling how much grit it lays down. There's also a very nice clarity about it that sounds like some of the dry signal is getting mixed back in at the end of the circuit - Or maybe that's just what a non-muddy sounding overdrive pedal sounds like. I suppose the best thing I can say about it is that I like it, and I'm keeping it - even after my KOT comes in.

5 of 5 My long awaited review...(not really, but...!) March 12, 2019
Reviewer: JH from Wakefield, RI United States
I finally had an opportunity to directly A/B my POT w/ a KOT - identical. The key is making sure you turn the mid-boost DIP switch OFF. It is not found in the KOT, and I think Mike added it in the POT for people using very "EQ scooped" set ups. You can obviously use it if you like it, however, when you turn that switch OFF-now you're in the zone.  IMO if you are really trying to get that classic 60s/70s "Marshall sound," you'll find yourself a whole closer if you use a speaker cab with a G12M "greenback" or the newer G12H-65 "creamback" (or very similar to these).  If you do this, I think you will have an "Aha!" moment.  The POT, in OD mode, with humbuckers, preferably into a "British-type" circuit that feeds into Celestion GB or CB, will get you "that sound" without having to get a "Bluesbreaker" amp and turn it up to volumes that will have the neighbors calling the police or your bandmates giving you the "stink eye."

5 of 5 Spot on! December 30, 2018
Reviewer: jason from RI
Great pedal! Bought as a gift but wish I bought it for myself. I am always skeptical with overdrive pedals through my tweed voiced and mid hump amps. Many have added to much midrange and can get a bit honky for my taste. This is one of the few pedals that works great on any amp I tried it with. Tweed, blackface, vox , aces on all of them. Great pedal to bring when you have to play on backline gear.

5 of 5 Killer sound with all my gear! October 19, 2018
Reviewer: Dean Van Tassell from Long Island City, NY United States
Mike really knows how to make a pedal. The PoT beautifully retains the natural sound of your guitar while adding a truly amazing harmonically rich texture to your sound. Sounds awesome with a start, gretsch, lea paul and an Ibanez jem into a ‘72 JMP 100, twin, brown eye, VOX ac30 or triaxis. All combos sound absolutely killer!

5 of 5 So good October 17, 2018

I just got this pedal a couple days ago and I can already say I'll never play without it again. It's improved my strat's tone 100 fold. I am totally in love with PoT.

5 of 5 A Bargain and A Treasure October 6, 2018
Reviewer: maineman50 from Fort Fairfield, ME United States
The Prince of Tone arrived gig ready.  It's a exceedingly easy pedal to set up:  find the mode with the level of desired overdrive/distortion, adjust the tone, set the volume, wait for the '4' count and go.   The PoT is enjoyable to listen to... a true bargain and treasure.  Thank you.   Dave
