BD-2 Super mod...Super amazing!! March 14, 2021 Reviewer: Brian from Medford OR   This is a no brainer...I could never really get the right sound/tone out of the original BD-2 before and i used it a lot...for me there was always this small window with certain gear that it worked well, but now...yikes...yeah it's just got this really nice full tone to it now which doesn't change when I switch back n forth on the clean or gain ch and that really holds true with the different pu positions.. except for the boost it's providing my overall EQ doesn't change it really mimics my amp and it cleans up so nicely by just a little volume cut on the guitar, it's not as compressed as before but what's there gives a nice feedback on the strings...I really love this pedal now...and the bonus is this awesome killer woman tone you can get to wander through your Cream catalog...wished i had done this way back!! Made a great pedal spectacular August 27, 2020 Reviewer: Kenneth Lump from TEMPERANCE, MI United States   I loved the BD-2 until I got the BD-2w and loved the BD-2w until I received my Analogman BD-2.   The Analogman moded BD-2 has now bumped the BD-2w off my board.   The Analogman moded BD-2 is just bigger, cleaner, crisper, brighter......  sonically, it just expands the range of the BD-2.   Not a night and day difference but enough for the discerning tone chaser to hear and really dig.  It is what a Strat fan is always looking for....... that sound.   That covers the lower gain seting/tone on this pedal.....   Now, the higher gain tones on this pedal/mod are also really, really great with a nice usable range so I will be sending in my remaining stock BD-2 into Analogman shortly to have it moded also so that I can have one for my clean (edge of breakup) sound and I can have second one on my board for higher gain/overdrive lead tone .   That is how good the mod is.  Thank you Mike, you make great pedals and have created great mods.   Keep up the great work. Just blown away... October 30, 2017 Reviewer: Seth Watters from Marietta, GA United States   Just got my modded BD-2 in the mail.  It's truly incredible.  The thing plays like a cranked up tube amp.  It's extremely touch sensitive and transparent.  I've tried dozens of overdrives over the years, and this one looks to be the best.  It will have a long-term spot on my pedalboard to be sure... All I can say is "wow" May 10, 2012 Reviewer: William Bronchick from Aurora, CO United States   Besides great customer service and fast shipping, I am impressed as hell with the product. I had a competitor's mod and this one is much better and cheaper.  Smooth as silk and nice and crunchy.  Great as a first level OD, second level OD or lead pedal.  Blows away the TS9. The Solution March 5, 2012 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Sunderland, MA United States   I have tried many pedals to get the absolute best boost without throwing various tonal elements out of balance. Boutique pedals and those with rave reviews in elitist publications on tone and mods included. All I will say is this pedal is the absolute, bottom line, best thing you could ever do for yourself. I read that Wayne Krantz used it and made things different for him.  I had to hear for myself and am convinced there is nothing better in the known universe for me at this time. Great Pedal October 1, 2011 Reviewer: Joe from APO, AP United States   Great pedal.......can be used in a couple of different ways: Use it as a very clear gain boost, gain almost all the way down, and level up. Or, you can get an almost Eric Johnson type lead (using a compressor as well) if you turn the gain up pretty high (turn the tone knob all the way down) Very nice pedal, glad I own it.
