5 of 5 Fantastic Analog Delay January 23, 2012
Reviewer: Mike Myles from Manchester, NH United States
I've owned one of these for over a year, played dozens of shows with it, and it's just great!... couldn't do without it. I have a Boss DM-2, which I bought new in the 80's - great analog delay pedal. The ARDX20 sounds as good, if not better, with more features. Having two separate delay settings is really useful. I don't use an expression pedal, or tap tempo. Very cool options, but I just run a slapback and long delay to switch between... all I need.

I've played and owned many delays - analog, tape (Roland 301), digital. I play mainly rockabilly, blues. This pedal is exactly what I wanted. Great warm analog sound, and all the features I need, but not too many - like many multi delay pedals. It's built solid - reliable gig after gig, unlike tape delays that need constant maintenance.

I use this pedal more than any other. If I could only bring one pedal to a gig, it would be this one, without question.

5 of 5 The best analog delay. November 10, 2011
Reviewer: FERNANDO LOPEZ from SEVILLA Spain
I had a lot of analog delay pedals.
For me the DMM was the best.
Now there is a better pedal: ARDX20.

Doesn't change your tone, and the delayed signal is fat. In an A/B comparation the DMM sounds thin, tasteless.
Two sets with time, feedback and mix.
Solid as a rock.
100% reliable.
Very well made.

With the wonderful Amaze0, you have tap tempo, modulation, 8 presets. Incredible.
The modulation can be wave or triangle. With rate and depht controls.

If you want the DMM like reverb sound you can get the mod with highpass for the repeats (only the delayed signal). Then you get a rever-ish sound. The repeats are lush, more dimensional, less evident.

I don't know the reason for its low price.
Is very well made, first quality.

If you are looking for the best analog delay pedal, here you have it. More than 600 ms!!!
If you play in gigs, you will fall in love with the Amaze0.

Thank you Mike. Again you got it. Again you made it.

5 of 5 ARDX20 May 31, 2011
Reviewer: Travis Posey from AL and Nashville, United States
The ARDX20 is one mighty fine sounding delay.  I think it's going to be a keeper.  It blows away all the big name and boutique delays I have ever tried (I've had a bunch of em).

I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first.  Your description says the repeats are clear, not dull.  I was afraid it would sound TOO clear and sterile. But it's pure and warm analog goodness.  I like to have just a tad of
echo,  almost unnoticeable. Most delays have a major jump in the mix knob.  They go from not at all to way too much with just a slight turn, even the T Rex Replica, Way Huge Aqua puss and MXR Carbon Copy. This always would drive me crazy.  I would end up using an old rack Chandler Echo which was a pain. Not now.

ARDX20 has a great mix knob- you can dial in very low levels with ease.  I'm a pro player that  plays all over the Southeast for a living.  Next I'm going to get the Bi-Chorus for my Leslie tones, so I can finally get rid of the over sized and noisy H&K Rotosphere!!

5 of 5 From Michael Pritzl, The Violet Burning May 27, 2011

I like certain things about the (most popular digital delay of 2011).
but it feels and sounds emulated. and when i put gain in front of it
it's almost as if i'm suddenly listening to a 'model' of the gain instead of the fuzz or gain pedal interacting with the amplifier.

i have to say that in my extensive research on delays over 20 years of rock music,
the ardx20 ranks easily as the best delay i've played, owned or tried for under $1000.
that is a huge statement. there are other good ones. the TRex, the DMM, the echodrive/sib.
but the combo of the ardx20/amaze0 would beat them in a sound test and in a ease of use test.

above $1000: the fulltone tape echo is also outstanding and the pete cornish TES is the ruler and most diverse, but hard to find and 6-10x the price of the ardx20.

thanks again for the outstanding work you and ohbayashi san did on these, and the great service!

thank you, thank you, thank you!

5 of 5 Excellent! May 1, 2011

This is by far my favorite delay so far, not a bad sound possible out of this bad boy. And quite easily the most power efficient delay I've ever had, a 9v lasts forever in this thing!

5 of 5 ARDX20 January 29, 2011
Reviewer: Daniel Giltinan, Herman's Denver FOH from Longmont, CO United States
Not only does it sound great in my guitar rig, it is also a sweet delay for FOH mixing! The tempo LED's are great for getting settings on the fly. I've used it for dub, rockabilly slap-back and even with some metal bands. Love the analog HF loss with decay! Nice driven tone and lots of fun! BLAP BLa Bla bla bl...

Holy crap.  I've owned/extensively used a bajillion delays.  Analog, digital, tape, etc.  I'm not a purist, I just try stuff out and dig what I dig.  Until now, I was convinced that w/ analog delay pedals, you couldn't get a richer, more organic, warm sound from anything other than an older EHX Deluxe Memory Man.  I was wrong.  The fact that you have 2 separate channels is awesome, but it's just icing on the cake- this unit sounds fantastic.  Thanks Mike!

I decided to sell my Keeley Modded Line 6 DL4 to get this, and I am so glad that I did!  Organic, and warm sounding.  Great for all of your delay needs!

5 of 5 awesome May 19, 2010
Reviewer: Bryan W from Erlanger, KY United States
I took a chance and sold both of my line6 dl4s after seeing the youtube videos from gearmandude, and the possibilities for expansion with the expression and loop jacks. After using it for a few weeks I'm convinced I made the right decision in getting this pedal. I love it, I'd also like to thank the staff and Mike for answering all my questions and being extremely helpful. Thanks again.
