Combining four classic germanium transistors, the Germanium Big Muff Pi is the result of a focused modern design dripping with EH analog heritage. An independent overdrive and distortion each have their own sets of two germanium transistors as well as independent controls. The ability to stack and use both the overdrive and distortion together delivers the power of a four germanium transistor circuit with ultimate control flexibility.

Got one of these for a friend,it's on loan to me at the moment and as I am truly blown away by the versatility of this unit I thought I had better write a review!

I'm not really an effect kind of guy, even more so when we talk about solid state effects.This pedal however has changed my way of thinking!

Some truly fantastic OD and DIST is obtainable and almost infinantly tweak-able with this unit.

I am really blown away by the level of tone available with a rolled of volume pot on the guitar, gain goes away but TONE STAYS! Where most pedals turn to mud this little beastly shines! Coupled with the separately selectable  and cascadable od and dist channels there really is no limits!

Flexibility with the voltage and bias controls really do set this pedal apart from anything similar.

I'm sure it wont be long before I place another order here, this time for myself!
Just as the the pedal is fantastic, so is the service from analog man!
