I've gotten a number of pedals from Mike. Started before he was making the King of Tone. They are all superb . I have a ton of over drive pedals but not really into distortion pedals. I recently came across people talking about the SD -9. Mike's mods on these pedals is out of this world. The mid knob is great and very valuable. However the gain switch is just the cats meow. It's frickin awesome. I was debating weather I was going to get this mod or not. I am so glade I choose to get it. It is worth every penny. It is louder and cleaner. Yet your strings are still alive like the distorted mode. It's awesome really!
